Xiaomi has become one of the most trusted and popular brand in India. Whenever a phone by this company is launched in China Indian people eagerly wait for its arrival. Today we are going to talk about MI Play recently launched in China.

  • As you see in the above image the box is very similar to that of Realme U1 but the phone is totally different. Here for the first time Xiaomi has changed its build quality and design. They have given polycarbonate body with shiny glass type back panel and colours are gradient which are very eye popping. Display is 5.84 inch FHD+ with u shaped notch. As far as the cameras are concerned on rear side there is dual camera setup 12mp+5mp with aperture 2.2 and 1.25 micron pixel size. Front camera is very basic 8mp.

  • Hybrid SIM slot is given. For performance they have given for the very first time Mediatek Helio P35 processor based on 12nm technology and it is decacore clocked at 2.3 GHz. Normally Mediatek processor comes with Mali GPU but this time they have used new IMGGDA320 GPU. Overall the chipset looks good in terms of performance. Battery is 3000 mAH which is really a downgrade done by Xiaomi but as the chipset is very power efficient hope we get a a good battery backup. It is launched at the price of RS/11000 if we convert it into India currency. In India it is expected to arrive in the end of January 2019.
